ibis Augsburg Hauptbahnhof

I was welcomed in a much appreciated friendly manner at 2am upon my arrival. I loved having a nice big double bed after coming from staying a hostel, and it was just great having a room to myself. Everything was spotless, the linens and towels were very clean, the storage was great and the bathroom also. I had everything I needed for my stay. The breakfast was a treat in the morning, I thoroughly enjoyed my eggs and coffee - especially with the oat milk on hand.

The staff are very kind and helpful both those working at the front desk and the ones in the breakfast room, as well as the others. Some of their members are even friendly, such as the lady at the front desk who showed me on the map how to get to the museums. The room, though a bit small, was comfortable, especially the bed, the toughness of its mattress being the adequate for a good rest. The room maids performed a very good job. The breakfast was good and abundant, albeit I missed some dried dates and plumps in the buffet. There is no music at breakfast time. That allows one to have that meal peacefully in a pleasant atmosphere, with no disturbing noise.

LOCATION, but NO loiterers...Close to tram, buses...Elevator was easy to use, just press...McDonald's, REWE, Müller, C & A and the DM are close by. Walking distance to the bus transfer lines and the Netto. I also loved that the room cleaning was fast, and efficient.

Excellent location , just a 2 minute walk from the main rail station , and the city centre less than a 5 minute walk away . The staff were very polite and helpful . The room was spacious and comfortable .
